TSO Chorus

The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra Chorus was formed by audition in October 2005, and includes members from church choirs, civic choirs, university and high school choirs, as well as professional singers from our community.

Mission:
To offer notable choral orchestral music in partnership with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra for the enjoyment and enrichment of the people of the North Florida and South Georgia regions.

Goals:

1. To perform one choral piece per season with the TSO, providing TSO patrons with variety of genre within the season and exposure to significant choral orchestral music
2. To introduce local singers to a new personality in choral conducting thus enhancing their musicianship and vocal expertise
3. To offer TSO musicians the opportunity for professional development through collaboration with a chorus of high caliber and performance of significant choral orchestral repertoire
