Joel Thompson, Composer
Florida A&M University Concert Choir
Maslanka has written of his 4th Symphony: “The central driving force is the spontaneous rise of the impulse to shout for the joy of life.” This musical celebration will be paired with a brand new commission by Joel Thompson (Seven Last Words of the Unarmed, performed by the TSO in March 2019) that commemorates the historic Tallahassee Bus Boycott. We look forward to, once again, partnering with the FAMU Concert Choir!
Join us in the concert hall at 7pm for a Pre-Concert Chat with Darko!
