Mina, meaning “everyone” in Japanese, was founded as an ensemble to provide musical opportunities for the community outside of the concert hall. Mina believes everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy classical music, and their performances have become immensely popular with students and teachers alike. Their presentations are highly engaging, and the members of the group are all educators as well as musicians. Teachers always rave that their performances are the most interactive they have ever seen!

Mina works hard to be involved in the community outside of the schools as well and has been asked to play at the Knott House as part of the May 20 Emancipation Day event. Their moving performances have made them a staple for this event every year. The group has also been asked to play annually at Tallahassee’s premier comic-con, InfinityCon, where they perform a wide variety of music including anime, film, and video game music. You can also catch them spreading the joy of music at various pop up concerts throughout the Tallahassee community.
