The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra welcomed 200 new subscribers to the concert hall on Saturday evening, Sept. 14.
The orchestra musicians welcomed new subscribers at the start of the second half of the concert by standing and applauding them. From the stage, Maestro Darko Butorac commented, “I am absolutely thrilled that, once again, we play to a sold out house tonight. This year we welcome a record-breaking 200 new subscribers to the TSO family.”
The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra is one of the healthiest regional orchestras in the nation, boasting a large subscriber base that is continually growing. “We had to cap our subscription inventory at 950 seats this year. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have any single tickets to sell to the broader base of Tallahassee. It’s a great problem to have,” said TSO CEO Amanda Stringer.
The TSO performs in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall from September-May. For more information or to purchase tickets visit www.tallahasseesymphony.org.
